I suppose your characters could look good in 3D but I also know that some things work better in 2D animated form. Examples include live action portrayals of animated characters or how a lot of 2D animated movies hold up better animation wise than a lot of 3D animated films. Or when one series is 2D animated and the other is live action or 3D animated. Results vary.
