My father's test results just came back... he has calcified micronodules in his right lung. That's what was causing his PSA levels to rise... and now he'll have to undergo radiation therapy. 😔

P.S: My mother took a quick look online —I don't know how reliable what they write is— and it says these micronodules are benign and could be caused by pneumonia or tuberculosis... but they're also likely Covid-19-related, because at the time, my father had contracted the virus for the second time and was treated.

It was a terrible day... at least they gave my father some sort of injection to figure out what was wrong, because his values ​​were up... it took three hours because there were other people in the waiting room. The answer will be known around next week. 😮‍💨

On Friday morning, my family and I will go to the hospital in Bologna for my father's high PSA levels, and we're very worried... but there is one positive: he isn't showing any symptoms of the tumor, and that's already something. All we can do is pray that the doctors will be able to resolve this problem 🙏

I know I shouldn't write this here, but I want to say it to vent a bit... last night there were burglars in our house who ransacked everything! They took some jewelry, my piggy bank with money inside and my collection of coins... last night we struggled to sleep because of the shock. Damn them...
